HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU!!!!!

It really has been a awesome year in 2007 and almost everyone is saying that 2007 has ran/flew past us so quickly! Of course this year i really had new breakthroughs and new experiences!

I would like to thank God for a lot of wonderful things this year!

In Febuary.. i received awesome results for my last poly semester! 1 Distinction and 4A-!

April comes.. i got enrolled into School of Theology!! It was really a last min thing as i will be going NS back then. Really had to thank EDMUND in particular for asking and that basically changed the whole thing around! eventually i'm able to finish the whole course before my enlistment!!

In May.. it was a busy week for me as i was busy training for my dance competition for emerge together with The Represent! It was a fun period of time.. getting to know them more and dancing as a group. They never fail to help me whenever i have difficulties catching steps. EVENTUALLY.... REPRESENT EMERGED AS THE CHAMPION!!!

June.. W212 multiplied and 11 of the group went out to form a new group under Mr. Garvin Chia! I'm praying for another multiplication before 2008 june!!

July was one of the most exciting month of the year because i was blessed to go for Taiwan Emerge! It was really an eye opener for me and an opportunities to be working with leaders like Edmund and Meng Jin as well as the 4 other CGL! During the trip.. Annabel brought me a news that shocked me the entire night. I was picked from the selection to sing BV for SOT! I don't really have a good voice but thank God for this wonderful chance!! A chance that allowed me to share the stage with the Pastors as well as Annabel and Alison. Sadly to say.. No Bro Poh!!

August! We went for Batam Emerge and i had once again the chance to sing for BV and was a time where i got to know more friends from SOT! AWESOME!

September... the most awaited one.. My SOT graduation! I graduated with a score of 90.2% and that's an A!! At the same time.. while celebration lasted for one week.. i had to enlist to the.. Singapore Police Force...

    November.. My birthday! 21st birthday!

December is the month to be! Were busy with Christmas and praise God.. my cell group have 47 friends and 18 decisions! I was particularly grateful to God that i brought 3 friends during that season and 1 stayed on! Also.. just last week.. im honored to have received the Encourager Award for W212. I was shocked yet knowing i have somehow impacted the members' life. I will continue to do that and even more!!

So i'm hoping 2008 will be a better year for me and since i'm posted to a 8-5 job.. i will have more time to serve God!! I hope this year i will be able to enter a place where i was somewhere near but never had arrived! This will be THE year!

So last of all.. i thank all of you who have been a part of my life in 2007! The leaders.. W212.. Choir.. SOT.. and of course God!

To start off.. Thanks to those who celebrated my birthday @ Cafe Cartel and at bravo terrace. Thanks for the gifts.. love offerings and wishes from.. a lot of people. Yeah.

As i saw from many blogs of the ET zone members.. everyone has an entry on Breakaway Camp and it must be real awesome.. Too bad i couldn't make it for the camp as i attending a 4 month camp at Chua Chu Kang.. I bet a lot more sweat to it! ET zone camp has always been the favorites among the youth where dreams and visions were planted in the hearts the members. I still wont forget the last 2 camps which we had at Changi Chalet.. Where presence of God was so strong and we can carry on for hours and hours.. I guess this time round it must have went up another level of the presence and anointing... I have yet to fulfil what God has planted in my heart 2 years ago.. The time is coming soon..

So how about life in NS? Actually it's like a chalet to a certain extent. Other than the early waking up and the endless law lessons.. We basically have the day to ourselves. Though it's the case.. but i can't wait for POP and lead a civilian life in less than 2 months time.

I have been eyeing for the Best Trainee Award for my squad since the day i enlisted. I believe in shining for God even in NS. Thank God that till now.. i guess i'm still on the run for the award as i've gotten Silver for IPPT and a Marksmanship for shooting test. I guess i'm one of the less than ten in the squad to meet the cut so far... Law test will determine everything.. Thank God for that.

So probably the next time i blog.. it will be an entry of my best trainee award. Who knows? Till then... i will be working hard for the test and of course Christmas is coming.. i will work hard on shopping and getting my squadmates safe..

    Adios.

Today was kind of bad day.. i woke up with no voice.. probably due to the chocolate cookies i ate yesterday. But thank God that after i went back to sleep.. when i woke up.. it's back to normal. So i went for cell group and after cell we went to a community centre for some basketball action with the guys. Well.. it was kind of fun in a way. Especially when i see isaac play and saw both my teammate fell and slipped at the same position. Well.. nice try.. i was smart enough to avoid that spot.. haha..

So when 3-4 games is enough for me.. together with eugene.. we accompanied jared to vivo city to get some clothes which he need for his photo shoot.. We walked a bit and after some trying.. eventually he got what he wanted for his shoot. i hope it turn out super good for his shoot.. We also went to River Island to get his formal belt and guess what.. Jared decided to bless me with a t shirt as i was pointing out this particular limited ed tee.. Thank you jared! Well.. in the end i took another design. Still suits white tee better. haha.. Oh yes.. there's this wallet in River Island that is very awesomely designed. At least to me.. it's very cool!

Had dinner at LJS and chatted a bit and went back home.. So now.. im coughing quite badly.. please keep me in prayer.. till then.. i'm excited for Pst Ulf service!

Phew! As i went to River Island to window shop.. i found a jacket which could easily replace the jacket from TOUGH Jeansmith which i have been eyeing for a long time. It's a white-ish beige casual jacket costing only $139! i mean it's way cheaper and very nice.. hahahaa. Looks like it has been some time since i went really shopping alone..

Before that.. i went to Bugis with kailin hoping to find some nice stuff there.. As i expected.. nothing much there and the trend is so last year.. or year before last or a lot of years ago. But finally at the last stop i found this shop at the 2nd level of Bugis. It's a very small shop which got their goods from HongKong. A beige semi-formal jacket cost $50. very nice too! Met nick for dinner cos i haven meet him for quite some time and after that i bought a beanie! haha to cover up my hair from being exposed. It just looks funny when i'm botak..

Like a few of you asked what i would like for my birthday.. this is what i hope for. hahaha..

    1) River Island - White-ish Beige Smart Casual Jacket $139 (Ask me!)
    2) HongKong Brand - Semi-Formal Jacket Beige (Ask Kailin!)
    3) Zinc - White Bagpack - $59 (Ask Kailin!)
    4) Anything from Skin and jackets from ZARA!
    5) From this brand called Jerry.. Japan Style! From Yahoo Auction. (Ask me!)
    6) Cool vintage tees!
    7) Nothing from Bossini.. Giordano.. Hang ten or Baleno!
    8) Nike Handphone Pouch! ($20)
    9) Zara Deodorant Natural Spray - ($16.90)

Oh man.. it has been almost 2 months since i last update my blog.. Due to my laziness and lack of things to blog about.. that's why you have been seeing my last entry all the time.

Anyway God has been really good throughout these few weeks! First of all.. i was selected for interview for the vocation of a PROVOST. A provost in the police force basically deal with paper work of those who AWOL (Absence without Official Leave) and send them to Detention Barrack! HAHA. No.. i don't enjoy doing this.. In fact.. the lesser the case.. the slacker i will be! I really thank God that out of so many interviewees.. i can 90% say that i have secured this vocation. 1 out of 500plus people in our intake! I will be stationed at Thomson Road and it's an office hour job. And on top of that.. i have a supervisor that really takes good care of me. Some of you might know the more in depth story.. haha!

So till now.. i have yet to pass my IPPT but there's improvement shown between the 1st and 2nd result.. just 1 more pull up and i will not be attending RT for the rest of my BMT life..

And like what shing has blogged.. November has the most birthdays!! Not just that.. i believe november babies are a bunch of creative and smart people.. People around me totally prove it. Whether you are creative in creating stories or in your work.. it's still creative! This never change!!! So.. since i made mention on this....

YOU GUYS BETTER GET ME SOMETHING NICE! HAHAHA.

I'm out again! Finally after 5 days of waiting... I was so really anticipating this week's walk out as i could finally meet the taiwanese again! Though this time round only got Ah mao and pillow.. but yeah we had a good catching up just now at City Hall.. They will be heading back to Taiwan tomorrow afternoon..

So how's life for me in camp for the 2nd week? Well.. i can call it fun. or rather because of the motivation i had which kept me going on. Really Thankful for the supernatural strength as the training was rather tough and it can be really challenging in your mind when you had to go through the same tiring routines every single day. Nevertheless.. i can say i enjoy it except for the extra stuff that we were made to do for no reason. Well.. they call that extra training..

So having this 5 days.. there are those who endured.. but there are also those who go another way which we call "CHAO GEN" a little bit also have to go to the MO (Medical Officer). The amazing/amusing thing is that having a strain on the calf can earn you 10 days of light duty? I wonder how the doctor became one.. Or rather the acting skills of the trainees are too awesome. Well.. who cares.. i'm more concerned with my weekends rather than staying in for failing IPPT because of the lack of training.

But good thing is that life is getting better and i don't think i have that emo feeling which i had in the first week. And... it's good to see some old friends in HTA training together though different intake.

    That's about all..

Yes! i know a lot of you are amazed that i'm able to blog simply because i got to book out! All thanks to the muslim who are having their fasting month. So this 1 month of so called Pract course will be without the 10days confinement which i think i will really die. literally. Anyway i guess all of you must be thinking.. yes police is really slack but i beg to differ! I mean yes because of my NAFA or IPPT if you like it.. i did not attain the silver or gold ranking which earn me a one month stay in the police academy chalet.

On the very first day.. 9/11/07

It was kind of emotional because i will be sort of leaving the world though i'm still in Singapore to a isolated place where all you see are botak heads and more botak heads. We were directed to a room where we had to be checked that no one has tattoo on them before allowing them to go to the next checkpoint. So then we waited and waited and finally.. we recite the oath and met up with respective family members to have our last meal before they see their "heroes" for the last time in the next 4 months... with hair again. While waiting i notice this guy.. i mean we all noticed that he was wearing slipper and shorts for the first day which literally gave a very "GOOD" impression to all the Field Instructor and Heads. I guess some of the people just don't read.

And so first day was the slackiest in the sense that we basically wrote our size for various items and had our very first bald haircut for some.. For me? I just close my eyes and walked out without even looking back at my beloved hair and the mirror for some first time botak experience.

    Second day... 12/9-14/9

It was the start of our Physical training. and it was kind of hell for everyone of us because we still couldn't get used to it. So i was standing there.. will cold sweat all over thinking i might just vomit anytime.. i prayed for endurance and strength and i thank God that i was really strengthened quite instantly. Thankfully.. Actually the next few days in the camp was kind of the same. Every morning we had PT and then we had to settle logistics stuff and area cleaning which we called Fatigue over there. So there were considerable amount of rest for us to slack and talk and find out more about my roommates. Yes.. they are a bunch of nice people for the first week. I hope they do stay the same.

So it will be another round of training next week which will be the start of our REAL PT and i hope next week no IPPT and confinement! i want to meet Ah Tao and Ah Mao on friday for the last supper! God... Please make a way!!

So dudes.. i shall end here and continue next week. Pray for me guys and i shall go and "relac one corner."
