    -Choonsie Concludes- at 1:13 PM

Okay, after much pestering of a certain self-proclaim sweet girl, i decided to blog in order to be free from the unlimited freeflowing of nagging. (i shall not reveal)

Just a little from Batam Emerge.

It's gonna be a wordy post cos i dont have any pictures from BATAM EMERGE or rather i dunno who has those photos. It was a blast! The Emerge is held at the largest church in Batam with capactiy crowd of 8000 people. The attendance were about the most 1500 for the first night and it really started off well. As a BV, we were really privileged to be very well taken care of by the batam-ians. The experience of doing sound check and go back hotel to rest and change and go back to the church to lead people to an experential time was really a dream come true. I always look at POH and in my mind, i always want to be like him. Leading people into a great time praising the Lord. This step in Bv-ing is really a great step for me. But well, i'm still not sure if im gonna continue. It would be great but i got to see what God wants me to do.

And yes, i was really happy that in this trip, i got to know some people better and a lot of new friends! The muzos and singers of course. Welton Seah, who was my bed partner and this "Awesome" "Sweet" lady who was really so "nice" to me at the backstage. I appreciate her. i mean it. YES. i mean it. Oh yes, of course those i talked for the first time. Back to the emerge, i could really feel how much they wanted to reach God in their own ways, but i guess this would be a goos tarting ground for something great to happen in batam and something great that will birth forth from the church.

Well, back to Singapore with boxes and boxes of J.CO donuts, i actually wanted it for my own but when i came back.. i just felt like giving all of it away. So there goes my J.CO to the Cell group, taiwanese friends and my friends. It just feels good giving them as a blessing.

So yesterday was kind of the highlight for SOT as we gather at Marina South for graduation dinner. I was kind of looking forward to it and at the same time not. Simply because the food really cannot make it. So before that, James and i brought the taiwanese (4 of them) out to do some shopping which i think was kind of pointless because the things in taiwan are much nicer and cheaper and better and fashionable! But still, fulfilling the role of a good host, ought to do my part. and it came to the dinner, where we had food that cant really be called food and lots of photos were taken. That was the highlight. not the dinner.

And Exam results for SOT are finally out after much waiting till we dont really wish to see anymore. I hope everyone did well and need no re-test. Very troublesome.. Personally, my result are quite alright.. compared to some people.. So yeah, next week is the last week of SOT and i'm totally going to miss it. The friends, the love, the training, the encounter.. i think im gonna miss the taiwanese a lot. i dont know why, but its just that certain attachment to them. Probably i really love taiwan a lot, by the influence of good shopping. hahaha

The only reason for this picture to be here is because... the girl that i was mentioning in my entry for being the most awesome and etc etc.. IS....... (NO... I DIDNT SAY ANYTHING)

Hey people! i'm here to update again, simply because i completed the never-ending assignments! Very happy about it and i felt the freedom to simply relax, though it happens all the time. Anyway, i guess i have to start with my taiwan trip! So here we go!

    TAIWAN TRIP!

Taiwan Emerge was the first trip overseas in don't know how many donkey years! I was really glad and grateful that i have a bunch of people who really blessed me and make this trip possible! It was really great and once again i thank you people for it!

We first arrived at the airport around evening time and checked into a hotel which looks like one of the hotel 81 in singapore, but nevertheless, it wasn't the main concern because most of the time, we won't be around. So after unpacking, we went to our first stop! SHILIN NIGHT MARKET! I tell you, it was really nice and shiok. As a crazy shopper, i was really looking forward to all the shopping and all the bargaining that i will be engaging with. One of the best was the Chicken Chop that we had. I tell you, it's the tastiest i ever had in my life! It was sooooooo good and it whacked Singapore's shilin xiao chi FLAT!

So i had a lot of shopping at shilin, wu fen pu and some other places! It was a great trip there and great deals!

EMERGE was definitely the highlight of this trip. I was in the committee team helping out the 4 ZS-es in logistics and managing the whole emerge items. It was really tiring but it was all fun and i learnt a lot of lessons from the ZS-es as well as the leaders that i worked with. :) Emerge was really lifted up by the appearance of various celebrities like F.I.R, which is my favorite, Liu Gen Hong, Lin Jun Jie and of course, JAY CHOU! They came and the crowd simply went crazy there. It was really great.

More than that, i really saw the passion of the front row taiwanese pastors. Each and everyone of them really have my greatest respect for their love for God and their will for great revival. The youths are really a great potential of people who can change taiwan totally, if only they step out! I was really glad to be on this team who sow a seed into the taiwanese youth.

Okay, so after this, i got back to singapore and life goes on in bible school. Basically like how it used to. I kind of miss taiwan and well i got to know a few taiwanese students! I mean they are really fun to talk to, except for calling me nicknames! I thought it was quite a pity that i got to know them only like the last month of school, could have had more fun! And yes, i was really honored to be singing for BV for like the past 1month or so. It was really an experience and great honor to share the stage with the main service worship leaders like bel and alison. Awesome awesome..

So after taiwan... what's next?! BATAM EMERGE! I mean i was really quite surprised that it is gonna be on and im going! hahah. but God is really good. I'm to sing for the services and i was already blessed with 200! Thank you Jesus for the provision time and time again! I'm really touched by God's faithfulness time and time again.. This kind always happens when the obedience of God's word and the seeking of His kingdom comes first.. So yeah, hope to update you all about the batam trip soon!
