Benny Hinn's Healing Crusade
I guess you should have experienced it yourself or heard or read on some of the blogs about the event that took place last week. Well, it was really a privilege to be serving in the choir for all 3 days. Tiring it may be, but being refreshed all over again and the touch of God definitely was a remarkable experience for probably a long time.
I was really praying for the breakthrough to come in the meeting as i really expect a time of transformation and bring the church as a whole up into a more enlightened level of healing and miraculous works. Indeed, God came and did a work in the crusade. Many people were healed and the falling in the power of God was one of the highlights of the event, partly because i'm in the choir. I was really so hungry after the 2nd night for more of God's touch and though sunday was flowing more on the LOVE side, it still end the crusade on a high high note. I can't wait for Benny Hinn to come back again!
Yes, also to say that God really made a way out for me. No, i'm not going to buy a laptop before army.. Yes, someone from my polytechnic lent me his old laptop and well, his old is like one of the smallest Sony Vaio and it's in such great condition. I mean yes.. it really made my work easier for the next 4.5 months. Now i can stop worrying. (i shouldn't in the first place)
Oh, also, this is the 3rd day of SOT and i'm totally enjoying myself. I'm allocated to YK zone's grouping because of my late registration. But in a way, it was actually a blessing in diguise. Melvin Toh is in my team. Julian is in my team. (All from TRP) + 5 CGL and 2 foreign pastors in the team. I mean it is really a good training ground with all the help of the leaders. Looking forward to it! The past 2 days were really great though we were only going through CIC and Getting Started. But it was a time of revelation where phrase upon phrase hit me like it never did. Well, it starts off well and i'm looking forward to end it strong!

I'M SO TIRED!
I can't believe i spent so much time online searching for good and affordable laptop deals. Yes and with that it cost me to look real tired and pale. I don't know why. People all around were like asking me the same question on why i look so tired. Well it's caused by this website called Alibaba and with this product called the... APPLE MACBOOK PRO
Yes.. It's this thing and i actually got a deal for it @ USD$450 including shipping. It's incredible isn't it? Due to the fact that afterall.. it's still online trading.. I decided to find out more about the company profile BUT it was no longer available. So with the ample time i had in the office.. I decided to check it out. I was told by the Fraud Team of Alibaba that the account was suspended due to some reasons. Okay. This definitely got interesting.. I decided to send this JAHID NAHOMI guy an email on the deal.
It's very weird that the contact status was all in a confusion with the main contact guy name which sounds like some middle east people.. Company is situated in Hongkong and the Hongkong address is like in BELGIUM?! Totally no flow please.. That got me even more suspicious.
What i told him was that to conclude a win-win situation.. why don't he send the laptop over first before i pay him. I mean if he really can do that.. i don't see why i can't pay a laptop which originally cost $3K odds with only less than $700? And guess what.. after 5hours or so.. he called me on my mobile and started talking in some weird accent which totally sank the words he said. Well.. i couldn't figure out and since the reception is bad.. i wrote him another email and currently waiting for that reply. It's real dumb i know but maybe it's just the thrill of it that makes me stupidly reply and keep contact.. knowing that he is already half a CHEATER.
Well.. coming to think about that.. maybe it's not just this that got me so tired.. Is it the blood donation and the lack of sleep last weekend that got me into this.. Before i faint.. i better go sleep now.. GOOD NIGHT! Continue to pray for me to get erm.. FREE LAPTOP?

Easter is officially over and here comes the retention period! Actually i felt something different in this year's Easter and indeed it was! Good news for us is that with the effort of everyone in the cell that has do what we can.. to see the Harvest. So in total.. we had 48 friends and 25 decisions made! It's really something worth mentioning and looking @ the 25 decisions (Not counting those who went down because of their friends).. i just can't wait to see them get integrated and then.. the next thing we will see is MULTIPLICATION!
Of course this entry about Easter is definitely not complete without the mention of the Drama Team! Kudos to you people.. who spent so much time and effort in putting up such a great show that has impacted and touched so many hearts in the congregation.

Okay.. it definitely has touched my heart even though i have watched the Drama for 4 times.. i just can't help but to be amazed and touched because of the ability to act out Jesus' humanity and every part of the drama.. Amazing.
Anyway.. good news to share! As you guys know that i'm like desperate to keep the job which i'm in now.. the boss FINALLY accepted my proposed idea of working @ home! This would means that i will be paid according to the hours i will spend in doing the assignment! On top of that.. Mum decided to sponsored around 1/3 of my SOT fee! As for transportation.. i will be going to Sijia's place every morning and go to SOT by car! Reason being that Sijia's mum is also going to SOT! Now.. what i'm still lacking is a laptop. Should i just get the Vaio one? It cost $1799 and i'm really just believing for the blessing.. Come on guys.. Sow and you shall REAP! :) Will update again and hopefully i will bring you good news. TILL THEN..
I can't wait for Wednesday.. Hopefully.

It's gonna be Easter in half an hours time. Yup very excited about it and all that will be happening in the next 72hours. Oh yes.. 40 over friends will be coming and definitely believing for good retention! It just makes me excited. Ohh Easter makes me high.. or rather it's the long hours of fasting that did the job. This is the easter card! Cool. Do come if you want to have an experiential time in church with God!
Gotten my haircut today and i'm pretty satisfied with it. It's done at Kimage @ Funan IT Mall. It was supposed to be done by students there but thank God it wasn't. Done by this junior stylist called Kiran and if you don't know.. i'm not that comfortable to have my hair cut by female because of bad experience. Yes.. I'm opening up.. i was thinking whether should i just ask for a male stylist.. but yes. Kiran did changed my impression of a female hairstylist. Well maybe that's the difference between stylist and auntie.
Okay.. back to my work.. My boss is still not giving me that fixed answer which i needed it. He asked me to write him a letter to somehow for convincing purposes? I would rather he spend a bit of time talking it through without having to go round and round with the purpose of it hanging in the air.. Well i just got to hurry him and get it done by Monday. God.. make a way! So till then.. i'm looking forward for many many retention a nd Sunday dinner with The Ark! Ps: Shing! MY SHIRT! LAPTOP!! GUITAR!!! and many many many more.... Labels: Excited

Haha. This is my Emerge 2007 poster. I used this for the Creative Print Advertisement. I know i know, it's not very creative.. but do pardon me because it's my first time on photoshop. Haha.. well, just wanted to get some experience. Anyway, Maybelline's and Macson's work were really awesome and i like macson's feel of his work. Well, of cos maybelline's are like winner piece? It's just that she keep denying.. So went to chill out with them + glenn at TCC and we just slacked our evening away.. mainly cos we are too tired due to work. Yes, both physical and mental. While i was doing the work, i could feel my eyeball literally rolling on its own and i don't know how come it would turn out to be like this!
And i really do need a new laptop now, especially when i'm going to SOT and my old laptop, though just repaired, but the buttons are spoiling, lesser and lesser button i could use and the LAN CARD. Yes... LAN CARD spoilt too. I need a Macbook, i need a Futjisu! God, can you just drop one down? Just don't hit anyone..

Okay. Look at this poster? It has created some questioning whether this ad is effective or rather just trying to scare smokers from their current addiction. Well, it's just some photoshop effects on this so-called Oral Cancer. Okay, so the extent of going so far just to intimidate smokers has backfire on the Health Promotion Board. People complained, kids got nightmare from the advertisement and now, they are only allowed to screen it after certain timing and billboards are not allowed to be placed near any primary school's busstop.
Let's look at another controversial ad..
This ad was strongly criticized for it's theme "Fantasy Rape" which you could picture it from the above. While Dolce & Gabbana tries to defend their stand of giving consumers that extra feel and emotional attachment, National Organisation of Women President, Kim Gandy strongly opposed the decision of the continuing of featuring the ad as it provokes the women and feeling that they don't need anymore violence. Okay, another flop ad..
So how exactly an ad should be which would not provoke any RIGHTS and gives people the opportunity to criticize? The answer is Almost Impossible. The fact of the matter is no matter how good an ad can be, how well it's attention getting factor or how it conveys the message to the target market, there are still bound to be criticism. We can't control what a person says and what they say are mostly very subjective opinion. You like it, you say it's good. You don't like it, hell goes to you!
But i believe all these ads i've mentioned did manage to catch the attention of some people. People still called in to HPB for advice to quit smoking, Dolce Gabbana still making headlines here and there. So it somehow turn the bad publicity into a good one. Well, at the very least, they still have a group of people who still BELIEVE that the ad has the value and it is still conveying that message that needs to be conveyed!
Haha.. Okay why i'm saying all these is because, if you are smart enough, probably you will get to know the deeper truth of the surfaced writeout. Sorry that i have to use marketing point of view, haha but that's training and sharpening my skill.
Okay, anyway.. had a fun weekend.. Saturday played some badminton and sorry darren! if you are reading it, you gave me 10 missed calls and i didn't even noticed! I promise to run with you the next time round! Comes to Sunday, Service was short and good and it somehow gives me the feeling that the sermon is the extended version of Getting Started lesson 5. Haha. So went to play for Prayer Meeting, which was a last min decision by Jerblinn and then went to parkway, celebrated Henry's birthday but had to go off for dinner with Ah Ger before the birthday dinner.
Went to Fish & Co @ glass house and you really got to try out their Grilled Seasonal Fish which is yours only @ $14.90! Worth it. Oh yes, a nice place to be and really, i got to commend this female service crew, Sandra. She is really very interactive and it just makes my stay a more experiential one. Nice place, Nice food and it's FREE! Thank you Ger. Muahaha, now you can go and ask her for a treat. No, i didn't sabo you.. Just appreciating you.
Oh yar, i gave away my Ed Hardy Shirt to one of my close friends. Well, really don't ask me why because i just felt like it. Haha.. Maybe i'm expecting blessing. GOD!!!!
