Listening to 98.7FM is indeed a joy, especially in the morning "Muttons in the Morning". As i plug to my phone and travel to work, i would at times look weird to people because i would be laughing and controlling it like some constipated guy. It's not exactly the the jokes they crack each time, but it's the similarity between our JOKES and that sometimes it's so random and lame that i would just laugh it out, like how many of my friends would usually do that to me. But nevertheless, it just helps to overcome that moodless morning where you have to go to work, all in the name of $$.
Okay, let me tell you what they have just cracked 5minutes ago.
There was this guy who was so interested in this girl in the office and after some time, he went to confront her and told her.
GUY: Hey baby, i like you very much. How about i give you $100 and you be mine?
GIRL: No way man.
GUY: I will just drop the $100 on the floor and before you pick it up, i will be done.
GIRL: Let me consult my boyfriend first.
So after the girl ask the boyfriend, the boyfriend said ask him for $200 and quickly pick it up before the stupid guy could loose his pants. So the girl agreed and was told to call her boyfriend immediately after she picks up the $200. So after 20mins, 30mins and finally 45mins.... the girlfriend called.
Boyfriend: What took you so long to call me back?
GIRL: ..... He used coins.
Okay, maybe its not that funny but till you hear it man, and its my kind of joke lah!
Yesterday brought my laptop to Funan for service and darn, it's going to take around a week before i can have it back and see you people online, at night. And then, went to have dinner with kailin so we were talking and talking and when we saw "Donut Factory" we decided to queue for it. It was really a long queue and being very filial person, we wanted to get it for our family members and so we waited for about 15mins and there sales personnel came and said.. Hi, i'm sorry but we have only about 12 boxes left and i don't think you all would be able to purchase it as there are still people in front. Well, of cos we went off unlike some people who still persist on queuing. Wouldn't they feel worse if they didnt get it at all?
And somehow, i felt that of cos there are a lot of places where people really need to queue for it and it just came to my mind that there are actually places where they hired people to queue to form that significant long line and attract customers to be in their queue too. I guess this indeed works well in Singapore as people are always s curious and would rather spend the time to queue also rather than losing out on the good stuff or offers the company is offering. But what they got in the end is basically normal food or product. But somehow they would feel good about it because its a deal everyone is queuing for without realising that half of the people queuing are actually being paid to do so. Well, thats the world of marketing and dont confuse that with marketers who have the knowledge of business ethics, knowing what is right and left and guess that is the only differentiating factor about us and them.
