Working is becoming more fun to me, especially when boss is not around today and tmr and day after tmr! With him around, you would have to work under a tense environment where all the people would be keeping quiet. And rather its all the rules that he had set for the company created that problem. I mean when he is not around, we still do our work, but with so much joy in talking and joking abit here and there and of cos needless to say, opportunity to do something like what i'm doing now. Nothing wrong with that, isn't it? I somehow feel that the freedom you give to your employee would very much help us to work better and happier. I mean in our generation, you probably would be more rebellious to the decision of your boss which limit what you CAN do in the workplace. But on the contrary, the more freedom you give to us, we would probably do things much better, or at least to me.
So without his supervision, i'm listening to 98.7FM and that helps me to think and do my work much more effectively and efficiently. Probably because when he is around, i would be hearing his irritating habit of clearing his throat and his not-so-soft lecturing and talking.
Well well, since i'm here for the 3rd week, so i'm actually reading up lots of marketing trends, and the neverending knowledge i'm receiving is really a bonus. Well, thank God for this job though the above was complaints.
Anyway, i'm going to this talk tmr with the head of IAS at SMU. It's actually a Talent Draft which sent a maximum of 20 candidates to participate in the competition where we would be competing with fellowmates as well as people from other institute, showcasing our talent in the creative art aspect. And if one gets shortlisted and one of the companies like DDB or Batey picks you, when i come out of NS, i would immediately work there with a minimum pay of $2k for 2 years. And i'm hoping for a slot in this and probably a placement in sought-after advertising firm.
Peace out people, and will be back... tmr. Office hours.
